In a nutshell we are a high quality learning experience with sauna, ice swimming, karaoke, and drinks.
Our mission is to help you to reimagine your work plus return home refreshed and as a member of the international Apple developers community.
ARCtic Conference was first organized in 2025 and brought together over 170 professionals from 25 countries.

The conference takes place in Theatre Rio, located in the heart of Oulu.

Oulu is known for its vibrant tech-scene and innovation ecosystem.
Local companies and research institutions have been major players behind technologies such as 5G, GSM, IRC, heart-rate monitoring, and wearable fitness devices.
Subarctic climate
Oulu is a great place to visit during the winter. There's snow and a great chance to witness the northern lights.
Remember to wear several layers when you’re outside, and you’ll be fine in the weather.
European capital of culture
Oulu is the European capital of culture in 2026.
Less than 8 hours of flying from any European capital city.
The night train from Helsinki is also cozy and it has one of the best bars in Finland.

Ski trip
We are going to Iso-Syöte ski resort with the speakers and crew, and there's room in the bus!
Watching northern lights, skiing, snow shoeing, snow mobile safaris, karaoke, fat biking, pantsdrunk, sauna, jacuzzi, hiking, board games - some ideas what the weekend could be.
You'll have to self-book your accommodation, but we'll promise that you'll be in great company if you decide to join us!
Transportation
The bus will leave on Friday 6th around 19:00 and return to Oulu on Monday 9th in afternoon.
A return ticket costs 20 €.
