This session is a blend of a workshop and a hackathon. It’s a full-day event where we’ll get familiar with audio programming using AudioKit.

The session starts with a brief lecture on how AudioKit works and how it can be used to create audio apps.

After the lecture, we’ll invite local musicians to join us, and they’ll pitch ideas for apps they’d love to use for practicing, playing, or composing.

Then it’s time to learn by doing. Roll up your sleeves, choose an idea, team up with other attendees, and start hacking.

Aurelius Prochazka, along with another member of the AudioKit core team, will be your instructor throughout the session. They’ll deliver the opening lecture and stay on-site to assist with any technical challenges as you work.

You’re also welcome to bring your own ideas to the session and pitch them if you like.

Prerequisites: Familiarity with Swift and Xcode.
